Google Docs Series: From Word Processor to Powerful Tool

Series Overview: Google Docs are frequently used merely as a word processor, but this beginner series shows you how to do so much more! Learn how Google Docs can be used as an effective and interactive tool for learning.

Session 1: During the first session we will discuss how to construct your first Google Doc as well as identify basic features including saving, basic formatting, inserting objects, collaborating, and sharing with others. You will walk away from this hands-on session fully versed in the basics.

Session 2: The second session will delve into the fundamental strength of Google Docs: Connectivity. Learn about the ways to use hyperlinks in all situations using everything from simple lines of text to pictures. Explore voice typing and translation tools that can help you turn your Google Doc into a powerful learning tool.

Session 3: In the final session, we’ll round out the series by focusing on tools which will help you customize your document specifically to your goals and needs, including free add-ons and advanced formatting, allowing you to create better and more effective instructional documents.
